Boeing 757-200 ex-N173AN
Description
Boeing 757 is the largest single-aisle commercial airliner to date. It was designed to fill the market gap between large wide-body airliners like the 747 and small narrow-body airliners like the 727 and 737. The Boeing 757 made its first flight in 1982 and entered commercial service the following year. By the time of the roll-out of the last Boeing 757 in 2004, a total of 1,050 Boeing 757s had been built, marking another successful model in the Boeing family.
American Airlines is the largest airline in the world. It holds the top position in terms of passenger capacity, total passenger miles flown, active fleet size, and historical fleet size. American replaced its classic livery with a new shinning silver livery for its fleet starting from 2013. The front part of the fuselage features American's new logo, while the tail displays an abstract representation of the US flag.
As one of the largest operators of the Boeing 757, American Airlines operated a total of 177 757s starting from 1989. The Boeing 757-200 line number 1005 was the second-to-last Boeing-delivered 757 for American Airlines. Equipped with two RB211-535E4B engines, this airliner made its maiden flight on February 28, 2002, and was delivered to American Airlines the following month as N173AN. With a cabin configuration of C16W52Y108, this aircraft served on both domestic routes and routes between Canada, Latin America, and Europe in its career of 18 years.
At the beginning of 2020, the relatively young N173AN was withdrawn from service due to the pandemic. It was stored at Roswell Industrial Air Center, NM for to years before ferried to Xiamen through Anchorage and Seoul for cargo conversion. The Airlinertags team obtained a small part of the skin cut during its conversion and designed this exquisite tag. Although we were aware from the beginning that the sale would never cover the cost even after the sold-out of this series, we are still very happy to be able to bring you such a beautiful product combining its texture and shape perfectly!

Every tag has its unique serial number; each of them is unique and special. Tags are distributed randomly, and you will get a different serial number rather than the tag listed.
Purchasing multicolour tags will come with a unique pattern as every tag has a particular pattern, but the colour will be the same as what you bought. Purchasing multicoloured tags will be automatically agreed with the rule.
Aircraft skins are flown with the aircraft for years and parked in Boneyards before us handcrafting it to tag. Minor scratches and paint drop are normal, hexagons and multicolour rectangles tags are not recommended to use as a keychain, and all rectangles tags will come with a ring for daily use.
