The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American-made wide-body jet airliner and the first airliner to have an airframe majority made of carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP). With all the cutting edge technologies applied to the 787, it became an airliner with excellent performances.
The 787-9 variant is the most popular model of the series, with over 50% of the 787s produced are 787-9. The model is targeted to replace the older B767-300ER and A330-300 airliners. It is also designed to expand into new non-stop markets without enough passengers to fill larger airliners. Boeing was right, the 787 quickly became very popular in the market.
As the second largest operator of the Boeing 787, United Airlines operates a fleet of 71 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, 39 of which are the -9 variant. The Boeing 787-9 with the registration number N45956 took its first flight on July 10, 2015, and was then delivered on July 27 in a cabin configuration of C48Y204. Flying for the airline with the second most destinations in the world, the airliner has been flying between dozens of major cities across six continents, becoming the back bone of international flights.
On October 5, 2022, the airliner was ferried to Xiamen Gaoqi international airport where it received a cabin upgrade with the Polaris business class pods. Aircraft Skin Origins:
Our aircraft skins have a rich history, having been flown with the aircraft for years before being parked in Boneyards, or during cargo conversions. We then handcraft these skins into tags. It's important to note that minor scratches and paint drops are normal due to their previous life.
Tag Usage Recommendations:
Hexagons and multicolour rectangle tags are not recommended for use as keychains. However, all rectangle tags come with a ring for daily use, providing convenience and durability.
Packaging Details:
Your package will include a cardboard piece alongside the tag. The hole and rings provided are designed to easily connect the two components, ensuring a secure and organized presentation.
